Building Blocks
Building Blocks and Construction Play
Towers, bridges and cardboard cities that build spatial thinking, patience and early maths words through play.
- 8 lessons
- Ages 1 to 6
Young children learn about the world through their hands, mouths, ears and bodies. This course shows you how to set up a washable play space, build sensory bins that are safe for your child's age, run water and messy play without chaos, and use calming sensory activities on hard days, with clear choking and supervision rules for under 3s.

In a deliberate order. Each lesson explains why the play matters, gives you activities ready to run, and ends with a small assignment for the week.
You will know what sensory play is, what the eight lessons cover, how much time to give it and the safety rules that apply to every activity in the course.
You will be able to choose the right version of a sensory activity for a child aged 1 to 2, 2 to 3 or 3 to 6, and adapt it for siblings playing together.
You will be able to set up a small, easy-to-clean sensory corner in any home and put together your first sensory bin in under ten minutes.
You will be able to run three dry sensory bins safely by age and make a taste-safe dough for little ones who still put everything in their mouths.
You will be able to run safe water play and messy play sessions for ages 1 to 6, with the right supervision, simple materials and a clean-up that does not take longer than the play.
You will be able to play simple listening games at home and run a short nature texture walk and tray, safely, with children aged 1 to 6.
You will be able to offer calming sensory activities when your child is overwhelmed, gently support a child who avoids mess, and turn clean-up into part of the play.
You will finish with a written four-week plan that rotates the activities from this course, and you will know which general signs are worth raising with a pediatrician or health visitor.

Play education, not therapy. This course gives you activities and explains why they matter. It does not assess your child or replace a pediatrician, therapist or teacher. Always supervise play, keep small objects away from children under 3 and use materials suitable for their age. Read the safety notice.
The Complete Collection includes this course and the other 5, 48 lessons in all, for $147. That saves $135 against buying them one by one.
